LaGuardia's Honors Student Advisory Committee: Honors Network
HSAC is not a club or an honor society. It is an active student-driven collective focused on enriching LaGuardia students' college experience through the creation of a powerful peer and alumni network.

The ultimate goal of HSAC's LaGuardia Honors Network is the creation of a community of talented current, prospective and past students who can support one another to be successful in making the most out of academic, scholarly, transfer, professional and leadership/service opportunities.

2019 Conference: Generating Power: Impact. Influence. Endurance.
The NRHC invites you to contemplate the ways power is generated, for example, from natural resources, to people’s ability to use social media to crowdsource to create change in societies; from the impact of government to force social change, to the impact of science to force crops to grow quicker and stronger to provide food to the starving; from the influence of the thoughts of Mahatma Gandhi, JFK, and Martin Luther King, Jr. that have helped generations of people overcome hatred and violence, to how media influences how we see ourselves, the earth, and others in positive and negative ways; and finally, how can we generate political power that can endure other than by creating dynastic rule.

Northeast Regional Hounors Council (NRHC)
The Northeast Regional Honors Council (NRHC) is an organization of students, faculty, and administrators dedicated to the encouragement and support of undergraduate honors learning. The NRHC provides its members with opportunities for the exchange of information, ideas, and assistance through its annual conference, its newsletter, and its Sleeping Bag Seminars.The NRHC encompasses Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Quebec, Ontario, and the Maritime Provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island. Currently almost 200 different colleges and universities are members. NRHC is a regional affiliate of the National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC).

National Collegiate Honors Council
The National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC) is the professional association of undergraduate honors programs and colleges; honors directors and deans; and honors faculty, staff, and students. NCHC provides support for institutions and individuals developing, implementing, and expanding Honors education through curriculum development, program assessment, teaching innovation, national and international study opportunities, internships, service and leadership development, and mentored research.
