The library is always interested in learning how effective one-hour sessions is and improving librarians' teaching. Since Fall 2012, the assessment committee has conducted pre- and post-class surveys for students who took library sessions for ENG101. A similar survey was created to survey students who took First Year Seminar since Fall 2014. Result data indicate students who attended a session performed significantly better than students who did not attend in basic research skills.
