eBook Collections @ LaGuardia
This will take you to our list of eBook databases and collections. Students login to individual databases. Faculty and staff need to use their Outlook email login for LaGuardia Library resources. These databases contain many books that are freely available in a digital format. However, while core subject textbooks might not be available, you may find books that are required course readings.

New York Public Library gives you access to over 148,00 mainly literature and non-fiction eBook titles. However, very few will be textbooks. A New York Public Library card is required. New York residents can get a card online by using the Simply E app available through the Google Play or iTunes stores. Not a LaGuardia CC resource.

Milne Library Publishing at SUNY Geneseo manages and maintains Milne Open Textbooks, a catalog of open textbooks authored and peer-reviewed by SUNY faculty and staff. Open Textbook Library This link opens in a new window
Open textbooks are textbooks that have been funded, published, and licensed to be freely used, adapted, and distributed. These books have been reviewed by faculty from a variety of colleges and universities to assess their quality. These books can be downloaded for no cost, or printed at low cost. All textbooks are either used at multiple higher education institutions; or affiliated with an institution, scholarly society, or professional organization.
