What is an indicator?
For the UN Sustainable Goals, indicators is the term for the data that is used to determine progress toward the goal. For example, for Goal 4: Quality Education, some of the indicators include measurements of student school completion rates (primary, lower secondary, and upper secondary education) and proportion of schools offering basic services, by type of service.
