Find an Article Using a Citation

Identify the title of the journal, magazine, or newspaper from the citation.

Type title in the search box.

Click enter or click the Search button. If the article is available a list of research database that carries the journal full-text will appear..

Click on the link to the database that has the journal for the date that the article was published (see the citation).

Once you get to the database choose the search within journal option and add keywords from the article title.

Find Online Articles
The research databases are indexed by:
-
Title alphabetically.
-
Subject (e.g. Criminology, Psychology, etc.).

Source Type of information (e.g. Statistics, Images, etc.).
Find eBooks

Click on the radio button next to "Library Catalog." This will limit your search to mostly books and eBooks.

Enter your keyword terms that describe the topic you are researching.

You will see you can limit your search by using the filters under the "Any field":

Subject
-
Author/creator
-
Title
-
Should you know the exact title select "Title," type it in then under the "contains" menu select "is (exact)Click

"Search" or hit enter.

You can use the filters that should appear next to the result list to look for online items or eBooks. the "Full text" filter will give your a list of digital items available online.
